Be sure to bring a bag when you go to help reduce plastic waste! As for my meal, I ordered the noodle dish—while it was tasty, it was a bit oily and salty. However, the bubble tea was amazing, with just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, it's a great option, especially in a city with limited vegan choices, and it's only a 5-10 minute walk from the ferry.
It's a family-run establishment. The portions were generous, though I wouldn't say it was exceptional. However, it was still enjoyable.
This is not your average Chinese food. The fried dumplings were so delicious that we ordered a second round. The dumpling soup had a rich and complex broth (I think it was based on Szechuan peppercorn) and was filled with Asian greens. The glass noodle hot pot was also delightful, with a lighter broth, flowering cabbage, Asian greens, tofu, and taro. The soy milk bubble drink was delicious too. It's a small restaurant with friendly service and a lovely fresh atmosphere thanks to all the bamboo plants. I've been there twice and would have gone more often if they were open on weekends. This restaurant is completely vegetarian and will also be good for vegan, as the personal dishes will offer without eggs and milk. we had fried dumplings, fried noodles and dumplings in a spicy suppe.
The food was good and a welcoming change for vegans but their customer service was horrible. She was rude and dismissive. Wish the service cud match the food
