Seats about 30 people with great Elvis/Marlyn era decorations, fun signs, and a friendly atmosphere. I love Jess 's rules . (She 's one of the original cousins. I discovered one of my new food loves ... Cinnamon syrup! Huge pancakes, good menu, friendly service. Cousin 's Cafe would be a huge hit in ANY town USA! You won 't leave hungry! A great value!
Great service great food! Good people! Great atmosphere! Lots of traditional breakfast options! Great portions. Was busy even though we showed up at 10 for breakfast. We will definitely be back.
Contentious signs instructing you how to behave does not make for a cheerful and/or loving atmosphere, sadly. : Substandard ingredients make for mediocre and very overpriced meals. : Do hope food improves, prices fall a bit, and Cousins Cafe does well in the future. :
Stopped into this little cafe before I flew back to San Francisco. It 's small, quaint and very clean. The portions are GIGANTIC! I had eggs, hashbrowns, toast and two of the fluffiest pancakes I 've ever eaten. The coffee was kind of weak. But, I saw them brew another pot and it looked a lot darker which, in my opinion, is always better. The eggs and 'taters were average but adequate. If I find myself in the Bozeman area again and I 'm hankering for a pancake breakfast, I 'll definitely stop in!
The servers were friendly and attentive. The coffee was pretty good. However, the gravy from the biscuits and gravy is the worst I've ever had. It was gritty and the flour was simply not cooked properly. It tasted watered down and under cooked. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, but they specifically suggested the biscuits and gravy. The Flying J truckstop (formerly Bair's) is much better. Heck, Perkin's gravy is better. Normally this would bring the review down to only 3 stars, but despite what Yelp says, they DO NOT accept credit cards... yes, in 2016. How can a business survive without accepting credit cards you ask? No idea.
