A warm welcome, nice staff, yummy burgers and quesadillas. I went with a group of vegans and hopefully vegans-to-be and we were all very happy with our choices including also soups and mac cheese. The place has not much inside place but has a lovely outside garden that must be awesome in summer. During winter you can opt for take away or eat your food in the nearby bar, which has a non-smoking section #Veganuary
I had the scrambled eggs tofu burrito and was not disappointed! Cheap for the quantity there is! And he staff is very nice #Veganuary Updated from previous review on 2022-01-29
This nice little place is located behind Monks Bar, walk down the Monks Bar alley to the end and you are in the Ahimsa courtyard, should be a nice quiet spot to eat when the weather is more clement. At the moment they are focusing on take away, but I ate out in the cold rather than face the smokey bar option. The food isn,t fancy but it’s good and wholesome and homemade. I had a tasty filling white bean soup and a cveatipi or however the local sausage is spelt! The sausages came in a good big bread bun. No desserts or cake but hopefully they will come...
The food is prepared carefully and with love. Most of the ingredients are organic, the owner is super friendly, kitchen is very clean and has a home vibe. They will also serve you food in the great bar that's right to her place if you want. Note: smoking is allowed in Monks bar.
