Sonic Drive-in - Bel Air

The food is decent, especially for fast food, but the nearly 30-minute wait in the drive-thru is unacceptable. I’ll be holding off on returning until I hear they’ve resolved this issue.

I’ll start from the beginning—no one greeted me when I arrived. My blizzards were served first, but it took 25 minutes for my food to come out. By the time I left, the blizzards were already melted. When I got home, the food was terrible; my kids refused to eat it. There was a complete lack of customer service. I won’t be returning. Someone needs to intervene and improve the atmosphere. This experience was very disappointing.

I had a fantastic time! I had only seen commercials for this place and finally got to experience it for myself. The chili cheese tots were great, especially with the added onions. The chicken sticks meal came with two onion rings and a slice of toast—it was a bit confusing but still delicious. The ordering process was the exciting part of the experience, which is what I was looking for. As for the food, it was just okay. Perhaps I should have tried something more indulgent! I’ll definitely have to come back next time!

Good food. Unfortunately, the slow service and boorish staff detract from the overall rating. If you do not mind waiting a long time for decent food, then get a meal here. Bring plenty of cash unless you hit on one of their specials.

I always enjoy their food, but even the drive thru seems to take longer than other fast food places. I wouldn't go if you are pressed for time, but otherwise they are nice.
