The manager attempted to make the waitress pay for our crabcake after a billing error. To set the stage, everything else was fine during our visit. However, there was a discrepancy with a charge on our receipt, which the waitress acknowledged herself. It wasn't a major issue, but we weren’t going to cover it at her expense. So, we approached the manager to address it. Unfortunately, he was unreasonable and refused to recognize the mistake, insisting that if we had an issue with the food, we should just say so. What really upset me was when the manager tried to have the waitress compensate us from her own pocket. She approached us with $10 out of her own money, which is already a stingy and unethical response to a charge that shouldn’t have existed. To then put the burden on the employee is simply appalling.
Steph was awesome, upbeat, fun and beautiful. She brightened my day. We had dessert it was ok. The eclairs are the best but the idea of doing away with graham cracker crust on cheesecake ruined the cheesecake.
Even when the parking lot is full, they always find a table or booth to sit you. We recently moved to Edgewood, so this is our favorite spot now. This one in Belair beats the one on Rt 40 by a mile! We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here and all were delicious. I love a restaurant where you can order something that is not on the menu and the cooks prepare it to perfection. Service is great, plenty of parking, prices are reasonable, food is excellent!
The food was excellent, although I found it a bit unusual to have rice in my cream of tomato soup. The location was clean and had a cozy, classic diner atmosphere. The staff was friendly and efficient.
