The food was exceptional, and the manager kindly explained that our table's previous occupants were finishing up and paying, so we were seated promptly. The BYO policy with a £3 corkage fee per person was a reasonable addition, especially since the alcohol was purchased at supermarket prices. The service was excellent, and I must say that the Bangkok-style noodles in soup were deliciously spicy (not for the faint-hearted). Overall, it was an excellent dining experience, and I would definitely visit again.
The food at this restaurant is amazing! Ignore the negative reviews from people who only come here to drink and don't realize it's not a bar. I come here to savor the authentic flavors of Thailand, my home country. The food is truly delicious and bursting with flavor. I suggest trying the spicy dishes for an extra kick, but everything on the menu is fantastic. I highly recommend this place!
Really delicious food! As a Thai person, I approve : tastes like home. I really like their papaya salad!
The food is not authentic. All reheated frozen food, the chicken had a piece of ice inside. Worse of all the service, arrogant, rude stuff. The owner is actually worse. I willnever dream of goint there again. A candidate for Kitchen Nightmares.
So this spot used to be insane and unique in that it was the only local joint that did value byob and bants. But the last four times I have been have been disappointing. Twice towards the end on 2022 and twice in 2023 most recently sept. I could sort of get my head around the strange charge for crackers , corkage and very rushed please order eat and leave mentality that emerged post covid. I understood I got their brand. However the last two times I have been it seems that their brand is now rudeness. And I wanted to express via this platform that it’s not ok. It’s not cheap it’s not that delicious and now it’s not even that convenient be careful would be my warning as a local gem can quickly find itself in the bin.
