Papilio - Beckenham

Food was great Friday night at 7pm and restaurant wasn't full but got busier as the evening progressed. Great staff, food was good, service attentive but not intrusive. Big Happy Birthday sung to couple on next table which was lovely but if more than one a night could be annoying (was loud)....nice place to go and plenty of menu choices. Only thing I could say is that despite a starter and main, I was still a bit hungry when I left.

We had friends to stay and brought them into this newly opened restaurant papilio (for me). what a good choice! eating was absolutely delicious (the crab salad was for dying) and service was first class and the ambiente was perfect. I would really recommend this restaurant.

Was positively surprised by the dinner experience at Papilo. Good food, good services really nothing to fault. Much better that other restaurants on high street that offer overpriced dishes with poor service

Pasta was nice not enough cream or seasoning wasn't hot when arrived. Tasty but not perfect. But potatoes were nice . Drinks good service great atmosphere excellent menu quite simple but delicious needs a bit more choice but very good. Liked the music atmosphere vibe decor excellent. Would go back. Little bit expensive but good.

The food was good but the restaurant was far too noisy. We could not hear ourselves speak. Sadly we won’t be returning.
