Stir Crazy Kitchen - Beaverton

One thing that the Portland area lacks is a good Korean Chinese restaurant. Korean Chinese cuisine is quite different from traditional Chinese food, and in larger cities, you can find many options. Recently, I discovered Stir Crazy Kitchen, and I'm so glad I gave it a try. Their Kanpoong chicken, which is not included on their English menu but is available on the Korean menu, is crispy, delightfully spicy, and perfectly sweet with a nice caramelization. The Jampong, a spicy seafood noodle soup, was also very good, although it didn't have much seafood in it. Additionally, they offer Korean Chinese-style sweet and sour beef, which was excellent too—crispy and with the sauce served on the side as I requested. If you're looking for Korean Chinese food, this is the best place in the Portland area. Next time, I plan to try items from their regular menu.

This has become our go-to place for Chinese takeout in Hillsboro. The food is not overly greasy and has a pleasant amount of spice. The Mongolian beef and green beans are excellent. However, the shrimp lo mein lacked flavor. On the bright side, the service is fast, and our orders are consistently made correctly.

I had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The food was delightful, earning a perfect score of 5 out of 5. The service was equally impressive, deserving another 5. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, adding to the overall enjoyment of my meal, so I would rate it a 5 as well. All in all, it was an excellent experience, and with prices between $10 and $20 per person, it offers great value for such high quality. I highly recommend it!

Additionally, I noticed that the front-of-house operations were managed by a single person who was not only attentive but also worked very hard. It seemed a bit quiet during my visit, which is a real shame because the food is outstanding and very reasonably priced, especially their lunch specials. I truly hope more people take the time to stop by and enjoy this fantastic dining experience.

The food at this restaurant is amazing! We came specifically for the jjamppong, and it did not let us down—it was incredibly tasty. The waitress, who I believe may be the owner, was exceptionally kind and attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful experience! Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
