Maggies Pub - Beaufort

The pub has a charming decor and the staff is very friendly. The food menu is limited, featuring around 15 items, while the beer selection is more extensive. The food was just decent. The veggie flatbread had tasty toppings and cheese, but the crust was stale, reminiscent of a type of wrap you might find in the grocery store. One of my friends tried the pub burger and said it was fine, but nothing particularly impressive.

Vegetarian Vegan friendly! LOVE Maggie's! I am a vegetarian and the owners and chef make sure there are always delicious options on the menu for us. My two favorite dishes so far are the Grilled Caesar Salad and the Stuffed Portabella Mushroom! The first time I visited the Pub, I wasn't sure what type of wine to order. Kirsten suggested the The Crossings Sauvignon Blanc...It was fabulous! I love that they offer LIVE music and events each week, Ladies Night and valet service. If you live in Beaufort County, you MUST visit this place! A Hidden Gem!

It's not quite a pub! They have four beer taps, but only two of them are IPAs, along with a heavy brown and a fruity beer—no lagers or pilsners, which is a disappointing start when placing an order. The noise level is overwhelming, even when the restaurant is less than half full, likely due to the ceiling tiles. While the service staff was friendly, it was severely lacking; we had to wait 30 minutes after finishing our mediocre meal before anyone checked in to see if we wanted dessert, despite the waitstaff passing by multiple times. There are plenty of better dining options in the area, and I hope they can focus on improving what has the potential to be a great establishment.

I have to be honest, I didn't order anything in this so-called pub. I went in, excited to find a diamond in the rough and maybe a selection of local beer; instead I found what looked like a wine bar at a golf course, complete with a jaguar parked out front and patrons parked inside with pink cardigans around their shoulders. I hope I'm wrong and hit it on an off night, but wow was I uncomfortable. And I'm comfortable just about anywhere.

Maggie's never disappoints the whole staff is very attentive and KNOWS their menu without a doubt. Marley's meals and Eddie's cocktails are always amazing
