I visited this restaurant on Sunday and was impressed by how clean everything was. The waiter/host was incredibly attentive and answered all of our questions. The bathroom was also spacious. For my meal, I ordered chicken with rice and fried plantains for $11.99, while my friend had a 1/4 chicken with rice and fries for $8.99. We both found the chicken to be very juicy, and the meat easily pulled away from the bone. The skin was packed with flavor. The rice was standard yellow rice, but it paired nicely with the bold taste of the chicken and the crispy fried plantains. The plantains were slightly crispy on the edges and delicious on the inside. The medium-hot sauces were all excellent, with my favorite being the medium variety – it was not only spicy but also flavorful. We checked Yelp and received a complimentary bottle of their hot sauce as a bonus. For dessert, we shared a round cake filled with dulce de leche, which was perfectly soft and delicious. The total bill came to a reasonable $25, and we left a $5 tip, making it $30 altogether. Overall, it was a great experience!
