フィードバックを提供するI took a friend here recently for dinner on a Saturday night, and we had a fabulous time. First and foremost, the service is great. Everyone we dealt with was warm and welcoming. From making the reservation to the person who said goodbye to us when we left, everyone was truly kind and gracious. The food was also amazing: I had the crispy duck rolls to start, which were excellent, as was my lamb main course. They accommodated my friend's allergies also. Everything was very fresh and tasty, Pricing was reasonable for the quality. The inside of the restaurant is modern and cozy, with an open kitchen. We had a seat on the patio, which was fully screened and covered to protect from the sun and bugs. Whether you're a local or just exploring the Beamsville Bench for the day, this is a great place to eat.
An innovative menu that won't disappoint, accompanied by good service,, but make sure you get there before closing time for lunch at 3.00 pm
My husband and I collected some out of town friends staying at a B&B in Niagara on the Lake. As these folks are very intrigued by the various wineries in the Beamsville and surrounding area we had put together a plan to visit several followed by lunch at August. I too was drawn to this choice by the favourable feedback and our expectations were surpassed. The greeting was warm and friendly, along with the service. The food was incredibly tasty too. You would be well served to make August your lunch or dinner destination. Cannot wait to return!
My husband and I went for brunch yesterday. I had been hearing good things about August so we tried it out. The food was amazing! My husband got the chili and brisket and devoured it. I had the jumbo breakfast perogies, they were so good! We also started our meal with scones and homemade preserves, they were the best scones we've had! Overall a great place, we will definitely be back for dinner sometime.
What a find! While passing through the area we decided to trust Yelp recommendations and got off the QEW to check out August Restaurant. It has an upscale bistro feel, comfortable and not at all stuffy. The food was amazing! My husband had the Fresh Herb Gnocchi with Wild Boar Bacon -- my only hope is that this particular dish remains on the menu until our next trip to the area so I can order it myself. One bite and I was hooked -- the various flavors melded beautifully. My Italian husband said that it was the lightest gnocchi he has ever had. I ordered the Baked Seafood ThermiDdor, which was a delicious, creamy combination of shrimp, scallops and crab in puff pastry. Prices were fairly reasonable, particularly considering the food quality and creativity. We most definitely will make this a regular stop while traveling through the area!
