Dogwood - Beacon

The bartender was quite rude to our group, informing us we’d need to wait for our server to take our order since they didn’t want to overwhelm the bar and kitchen. This was at 7 PM on a Friday night with no noticeable crowd, and there were only three of us. When we finally ordered drinks, we had to make substitutions because they were out of certain ingredients. Overall, the drinks were underwhelming, the staff seemed annoyed, and the atmosphere felt lackluster. I can't recommend Dogwood as a go-to spot; it’s more of a place to stop by on a pub crawl at best.

One of the best places in Beacon for drinks, snacks, and music.

"The food is excellent. It's very kid-friendly with ample space for children to play. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, making it easy for everyone. The price range is reasonable, around $10–20 per person. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Wings!"

Very good food. Everything we ordered had a kick in it from the gravy of the poutine, to the andouille sausage with whole grain mustard. Parking available.

Really liked this bar! Need to go back and try the food. Great place for drinks and live music
