As for the food, I would rate it a solid 3. It was straightforward pub fare, surprisingly good considering our initial impression of the place upon entering. This initial impression was largely shaped by the atmosphere, which I would rate as a 1. There was nothing inherently wrong with the cleanliness—surfaces, service ware, and restrooms were all tidy. However, the overall vibe felt more like a roadhouse or a bar I might have snuck into as a teenager, rather than a proper restaurant. The space was quite dark—not the cozy kind of dark, but rather a gloominess that persisted even with the lights on. Additionally, there was a thin grayish-white haze in the air that carried a scent of old cooking oil. I hope this was just a one-off issue from a kitchen mishap before our arrival, as neither Joe nor we mentioned it. The dining area felt dingy, with mismatched, well-worn tables and chairs scattered haphazardly throughout. However, despite the shortcomings in ambiance, the food was well-prepared and satisfying. Would I eat there again? Yes, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

We happened to drive by and decided to stop in on a Friday night. The staff was friendly, and the food was excellent. The gentleman in charge was fantastic. It’s a great spot for the neighborhood or a nice place to pop in for a meal.

The service was incredibly slow, so I wouldn't recommend this place. I ordered three simple items, and it took more than an hour to receive them.

The food is incredibly bland—there's no flavor whatsoever in the fish or chicken. The mashed potatoes lack taste too. The only item with any flavor is the chicken tenders and fries from the kids' meal. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant, and I won’t be coming back. It feels like cafeteria food.
