This place is the real deal offering fresh authentic fare for a reasonable price. This restaurant is family owned and run. The staff is young, friendly and competent. One of the reasons by son moved back to NY from Indiana was to savor the matzoh ball soup here. There is absolutely nothing bad about this place. The soup, sandwiches and fries are fresh and tasty. Hurry on over to eat as I'm not sure how much longer this place can remain viable. I go almost weekly. Final note, keep taking you cholesterol medication if you eat here.
AMAZING PASTRAMI! I recently had the pleasure of ordering a pastrami on rye at Buddy's Kosher Deli, and it was truly the best pastrami I've ever tasted. By the way, the coleslaw and pickles were fantastic as well!
Very friendly and helpful. Pastrami tasted so good. Remember how it was years ago. The first time here. Will definitely return.
On my first visit, I was greeted by the incredibly friendly staff right at the entrance of the restaurant. The waitress was attentive and checked in on us to make sure we were happy with our orders. I chose the open sandwich with corned beef and what was supposed to be juicy pastrami, accompanied by a side of jumbo steak-sized fries. The meal was delicious overall, but I was a bit let down by the pastrami, which didn't live up to its "juicy" description. That was the only downside of an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.
Delicious! I highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat. If you choose to dine in, you’ll find the restaurant clean, and the wait between ordering and receiving your food is minimal. The food is excellent, especially the cold cuts like pastrami and corned beef. The bratwurst is also top-notch. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a quick meal. My only complaint is that the restroom needs some renovation, and the prices can be a bit high, depending on what you order.
