フィードバックを提供するThis is cozy little cafe is a great spot for a breakfast buffet on the weekend. It is full of tasty traditional fare such as sausage, bacon, pancakes and the list goes on. Tasty deserts including home made pies and custard are also on the table. Service is prompt and friendly. You can also purchase baked goods, local produce and jams. You won't leave here hungry.
We tried several products from the Bayfield Berry farm. We had the cheese bread which was delicious! We also got an caramel apple pie. We had to get the frozen because they were all out of the fresh. But it heated up wonderfully. We also got some ice cream for the kids while we were there. They really enjoyed that treat. They had a great selection of jams and jellies as well as pickled items and u-pick berries.
Great atmosphere and a breakfast that will fill you up for days! Great food, well cooked, and delicious. Plenty of it too. Lots to see and get on the menu and stuff to go as well. Will be back!
Excellent breakfast spot...we order off the menu as the buffet is way to tempting to overeat lol. Have never been disappointed with our meals. You also are served pots of fresh homemade jams. While we go for the breakfast they also have rows of jams, juice, ciders, fruits and vegetables, baked goods and home and garden decor. Deserves a visit if you are in the area.
We were in the Bayfield area over the 4th, with two teenagers. We asked the hotel for a good breakfast place - to start the day off right! From the description at the hotel, this place sounded perfect - what a mistake! We walked in, were greeted with a sign saying, "We are short staffed today - serving breakfast buffet only."No problem - I'm up for a good breakfast buffet anytime. After a few minutes (a long time actually) one of the hostesses came over to seat us. "What's on the buffet" I asked."Eggs, pancakes, fruit, you can have anything that is there..or you can order eggs," she says."What's the cost?" I asked."$13.95 per person," I think she said."Ok...we'll try it," I said, as we went to our table.Since I actually generally LIKE breakfast buffets, I have a habit of surveying buffets before I take anything - just to see what's there. As I walked up and down the two tables - really a very sparse selection of things - I noticed the selection of eggs. "Selection" - wow is THAT being generous!!! There were a few scraps of scrambled eggs, which were probably 30 minutes old (I'm guessing - from the hardened and crusted appearance). Next to that was a plate with a few hard boiled eggs on it. I put my plate down, and said to the kids, "Let's get out of here...I'm not paying $13.00 a plate for this garbage." We walked out. What a complete joke.I learned over the weekend, that, along with generally below average food in the area, the service generally also sucks. The locals seem to have some some of entitlement mentality - which translates into slow and uncaring service. This place was a poster child for that.Eat at Renegade's instead!!! It was FABULOUS. GREAT FOOD; reasonable prices; GREAT SERVICE!!!
