I just spent 10 minutes in line watching someone place their order, only for them to sit there while a line of cars built up behind them in the drive-thru. Why not have them pull forward until their order is ready, allowing the rest of us to place our orders? This is the slowest service I've ever experienced.
I had breakfast and the egg omelet was quite good. I ordered fried potatoes with chopped onions, but they served sliced potatoes with sautéed onion rings on top instead. That's not the same as fried potatoes with chopped onions. I opted for ice water instead of coffee, so the price reflected that. Overall, it was reasonably priced for what I received.
Food was ok. My order was wrong. The employees seemed nice.
Glad to go to a restaurant that is affordable. They kept from skyrocketing prices and breakfast is really good.
We only saw our waitress when we placed our order and when she brought our food. Unfortunately, the meal was below average. The flavors were inconsistent, with some dishes lacking seasoning entirely, while others were overwhelmed by it. I ordered the hamburger steak with onions and gravy, which turned out to be a frozen patty smothered in powdered gravy. The black-eyed peas tasted from a can and were excessively salty, and the chicken and dumplings were overly yellow and packed with salt, likely due to too many bouillon cubes. We decided to try this restaurant because it's a well-known spot in Baxley, but we won't be coming back. If we're spending over $30 for a meal, we expect it to be at least edible.
