La Terrasse - Bauduen

Restaurant is in a great position overlooking the lake. We went for lunch , the service was prompt but not to quick. The food was great and very reasonably priced. A special mention has to go to the young waitress who was absolutely delightful

I have been to this restaurant with my girlfriend since all the restaurants in Bauduen seemed to be quite turistic. For a burger, a salad, a small beer and a glass of house rose we have spent 33€. The dishes were very bad, with tasteless ingredients, a lot of oil and so on. I would definitely avoid this place to eat, maybe as a coffee bar could be worth.

So: We ate here 3 times in the last week, twice as lunch, once as dinner. If you expect gastronomic food, this is not the place to be. BUT: i ate the menu of the day 3 times. It comes in at 18 euro. And just WOW. For this price you get a main, dessert and a coffee. The main changes every day, so we could go back every day and still have a different menu. Every single time i liked the main. It's simple food, but cooked perfectly and good quality of ingredients. The dessert's were perfect as well: I had the speculoos tiramisu every time because it was so good, it was addictive really. By partner had some other desserts and there were good too! Service wasn't to keen on etiquette, but again they don't claim to serve world class food, honest food with good service. We were served by Benjamin if i recall correctly and all around friendly, fast service. If you're looking for honest, great food just go to La Terrasse, take the day menu, eat good simple as that.. Quality/price is perfect for a nice quick lunch. At this price point i don't think you can get better food anywhere else..

We stopped by chance in this restaurant, and we were not disappointed! impeccable service, smiling and efficient servers, and very pleasant terrace. As for the dishes, it was a real treat! My husband loved his burger, I chose the menu of the day with a tuna tataki, it was a real delight!All is, quantity and quality, with tasty dishes and fresh products!
