Pizza Byronz - Baton Rouge

This might be the best pizza place in Baton Rouge, featuring a rotating brick oven. They have a great selection of specialty pizzas, such as a thin crust with fig and goat cheese, and a thick crust with artichoke and shrimp, both of which are absolutely delicious. Even the small pizzas are quite filling, making them a generous portion for one person.

Our waiter was great! He provided suggestions and was very responsive to our questions. I chose the Peachy Greens salad, the Flambee Brie, and a Frozen French cocktail. My son and I shared the salad, while he ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The salad was massive! It looked appealing, but, to be honest, the taste didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I think it would have been better with fresh peaches instead of what tasted like canned ones. Additionally, I believe an Arugula mix would complement the salad better than the baby spinach they used. It was also heavily dressed, which was overwhelming; I’d have preferred the dressing served on the side. The Flambee Brie was delicious! They have a variety of pizzas, but I really enjoy a good thin crust, so I’d definitely order that again. The Frozen French cocktail was also tasty! My son’s spaghetti looked appetizing, and he loved it, but I wasn’t too interested in it. However, I found the meatballs difficult to cut as they were quite dense. The sauce had an abundance of black pepper, which I typically like, but it was just a bit too much this time. Overall, I think I’d return for happy hour to try some appetizers and another Flambee. The prices were reasonable, with our bill being $50 for two people before tip.

Great pizza! Had The Butcher on cauliflower crust and it tasted delicious! Good location in the area plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Good sandwiches as well the Au Jus is very good the dip is thick and hearty great flavor. Clean and staff is friendly.

I had 3 different pizzas in the 3 different styles and all were fantastic. The classic muffeletta was my favorite. It was the perfect amount of salty goodness and still tasted like a muffeletta. The square butcher was very meaty. I preferred it the next day. However, my husband absolutely loved it. I also ordered the honey poulette flambee, which is also very tasty. Even with these romaine lettuce, it added a nice contrast to the fried chicken . I also tried the frozen French 75 as well as the frozen hot toddy, both were wonderful. I enjoyed the frozen hot toddy more! Service was great. The bartender was friendly and personable.
