Mid City Beer Garden - Baton Rouge

Loved this beer garden! We were just visiting family and wanted to get out and have tapped beers. The food was great but forgot to take pictures. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about all of the beers on tap. Which is super impressive because they have so many. 59 taps! The atmosphere was great. I'm sure the outside seating is nice when the temp isn't 100° lol. Their garden has lot lots of cool plants. We will definitely be back whenever we visit again. Thanks for the hospitality!

I enjoyed my time dining here. The atmosphere was chill and pleasant. I had the spinach dip, which was good and the red beans and rice with catfish was good with a hit of hot sauce. I would go back.

I was looking for something in the area where I could take a larger group and was immediately impressed with the accommodations at Mid City Beer Garden the first time I visited. There are plenty of booths and tables inside in the air conditioned environment, plus a full bar with stools for seating, but they also boast a large covered garden area within the walls of the restaurant with tables large enough to seat six or eight people. Although temperatures here in the summer are certainly not always the most pleasant, there are many fans, umbrellas, trellises and open air flow help to make the outdoor seating a more reasonable option. The food is excellent and boasts a unique take on some traditional dishes. The management and the staff there are beyond helpful and friendly! I have been back multiple times since that first visit and would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking to grab a beer and a bite to eat while relaxing on Government Street here in Baton Rouge! As an additional note, this restaurant is very pet friendly allowing customers to bring pets on a leash to their table side to dine together.

Amazing ambiance! A great place for a cute date (brunch or night) and a fun hangout place. Great food and beer selection! Good vegetarian options and some of my friends tried chicken sandwich and burritos. Great food selection.

Love the atmosphere here and you can't beat a $6 burger and fries! The burger patty was seasoned perfectly! It wasn't too dry or greasy and the bread was amazing! Can't wait to try more of the menu!
