Fat Boy's Pizza - Baton Rouge

Fat boys pizza is a great slice. I recommend getting the traditional pepperoni pizza. I ask for it to stay in the oven just a little longer than normal to get a slightly stronger crust. It is exactly what I want when I think of large slice, slightly greasy style pizza. About as good as you are going to get here in South Louisiana. Really gives that New York Style Pizza feel. Will definitely be going back at least once a week.

Thought I would grab a slice since it was close. I got a recommendation from a co worker. They give big slices but I feel like I got the smallest one. It took about a good 10 min to re heat my slice. The cashier had a hard time understanding my order of a pepperoni slice with no one in the restaurant. I don?t think I will ever go back. Just not worth it.

This place has awesome pizza. The dough doesn't turn rock hard if you don't eat it immediately and the pizza sauce is tasty, even without adding the extra parm cheese, red pepper and Italian seasoning blend they have in shakers to use as you wish. They have always been very nice to us whenever we venture out with our kids.

So I wanted to order a personal supreme pizza with no black olives. The girl said they can only do that if they could use gluten free dough for the base. Well I don't like gluten free bread. They literally could NOT make a personal pizza to order unless it's gluten free. Whatever. I moved on. I tried to order the calzone without ricotta cheese. She said that was impossible, too. I left. I literally can't understand how you couldn't just NOT put ricotta cheese into a calzone.All you have to do is assemble the calzone as normal, and then add two of the three cheeses you normally would, instead of added all 3.
