1913 Restaurant And Bar At The Lansdown Grove

The staff were efficient and polite. The food was very good. The restaurant was quiet for a Saturday evening.

First time here and will definitely eat here next time weare in Bath! Staff are very welcoming and attentive without constant hassling. Food is first class and choices are wide. Ambience is excellent, upstairs is quiet but with a brilliant playlist in the background whilst downstairs is more lively. Definitely recommended!

We dined in the restaurant on saturday 15 October. Unfortunately there was a party in an adjacent room. The service we received was abysmal. The party clearly had priority. We had to wait 40 minutes to have our plates cleared and were told we would have to wait at least 15 minutes if we wanted a dessert. We didn't bother. The food was very average. We would not eat in the restaurant again.

Hotel is a bit understaffed at the moment and not many people dining (at times we were the only guests in the dining room); food is probably suffering from these two factors. A lot of it felt microwaved and rushed. Would skip it for something in town next time.

Delicious meals in a beautiful setting with great service.
