Went with my girlfriend for lunch paid a good price and got a lovely view as you come into bate haven the entrance is around the back food came in less than 15 minutes

Ordered chicken laksa and chicken pad Thai. Laksa was quite thick, tasted more like a curry. Pad Thai was sweet, tasted more like pad sea ew.

Not the first time here with friends who live locally. Food as usual is excellent but the service requires patience. BYO wine so be prepared to sit back and relax

Looking through menu looking at our usual prawn dishes when we heard the waitress at the next table say "we dont have prawns tonight" did we hear wrong? We called her over and she said they wouldnt have prawns for at least 6 mths due to govt ban from Thailand. What is wrong with Aust prawns...oh too expensive! We then ordered chicken satay with a tasteless satay sauce, pork belly cashew which was so sweet and fish which was tough and super sweet. We felt like we had 6 cans of coke and the worst thai ever! Never to return.
