Zur Harmonie - Basel

We really enjoyed all our dishes especially the venison with purple cabbage and spetzel. The local beer was also great and complimented the food.

I travel to Basel 2-3 times per year for work, and every time that I do I try to come to this restaurant. It is small and cozy and full of locals. Even traveling solo sometimes I cannot get a table, so make a reservation if you are in a group. Their mainstay are traditional Swiss dishes of the comfort food variety. I have never been disappointed here.

Excellent restaurant with great service and food. The atmosphere was also good as there were lot of people there. I tried the Wiener Schnitzel and it was absolutely incredible. I seriously recommend.

Ordered boiled veal dinner to select a healthy choice Waiter said a Swiss specialty Plate came with chunks of boiled fat Maybe a few pieces of heart? Ate none Asked if all fat and was told yes Disgusting Ate the boiled potato was charged full price for dinner returned.

Great Swiss food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Plus it's not too expensive. Just perfect :
