Ambrosia Greek Eatery - Bartlett

Food is awesome but when you order food to go geez you need to double check order I was not going to review but dam they messed up my order 3 different ways asked for double rice did not like the potatoes because 70 percent of the time there under cooked then they missed the extra pita and the final straw was no sauce for the gyros very disappointed owner said he would make it right i dont want to go back

I came in mid-afternoon for a late lunch after a long and tiring day.I was immediately struck by the cleanliness and sheer character of the place.The art, music, layout, and decor all speak of a great deal of heart, care, and pride.I was then met by the person who I strongly suspect is the source of most, of not all, of the above, the lady in charge.She was a perfect combination of professional courtesy and Greek Mama: very glad to see me, very knowledgeable, and very determined that I have enough to eat.I gladly ordered what she recommended, and everything was wonderful.The salad was delicious and refreshing, the gyros were excellent, and the stuffed grape leaves were the best I have ever eaten.But the highlight was the pork souvlaki!The meat was very tender and perfectly done, with superb seasoning!In summary, wonderful food, very reasonable prices, great atmosphere, and outstanding service.I give them 5 stars only because I can't give them 6.

Ambrosia Greek Eatery has some of the best gyros I have ever had. I love that their gyro meat is hot but not burnt, their pita is also good. I didn’t realize this restaurant was housed in Bartlett, now I can’t stop ordering from them. Their delivery is swift and everything is fresh. If you haven’t eaten there, give them a try. You won’t be sorry.

Not sure if it was an off day for them but it seems like the place wasn’t that busy to wait 30 minutes for a gyro. Once I received the food our fries were cold and stale and the gyro wasn't warm. Writing this review because last time we received raw chicken which I originally disregarded.

Forget about driving miles to get good Greek food...this establishment has it. The freshest salad and Greek foods you could ever hope for. Staff of superb folks who cater to your every whim. A real winner!
