The Barrow Arms Restaurant &bar

The staff at this restaurant are wonderful. They have karaoke night on Fridays. However, it seems like the restaurant might be closing down.

We ordered a Sunday dinner for two at 5 pm. It arrived close to 5:30 cold and almost inedible. The Yorkshire pudding seemed to be Aunt Bessie's and it was so floppy, it seemed like it hadn't been cooked in the oven. The lamb was fatty and the gravy was watery. We will not be ordering from here again.

I stopped by this restaurant for a quick lunch while waiting for a work meeting and was highly impressed by the delicious food and incredibly friendly service. I will definitely be coming back if I am ever in the area again.

Great pub, its the 2nd oldest pub in barrow, Haven 't tried the food yet, Drinks are reasonably priced, good selection, It 's clean, respectable, Nice to see it open as a local pub at the weekends like it used to, Jordan and shania, young couple but their doing a good job, Kareoke in the evenings, Back to how it was for the past 40 odd years I 've been around, It should of always been a pub, But Jordan has found the balance between restaurant and bar, it 's not the drinking man 's pub it was, probably for the best lol but it 's still a good place to have a few and enjoy yourself, Door staff are friendly and more importantly, capable, So Give it a try, you 'll have a good time, (coffee isn 't bad either lol)

Not sure I would call it Gastro pub! Food average, service not great. I will bring your drink over 10 minutes later still half poured! Fly catcher and a too up of painting would help!
