I'm struggling to put into words how awesome this hotel is, it's everything I didn't know I wanted, all wrapped up in a boutique hotel package. Gorgeous rooms, fantastic art, exceptional food, wonderful staff.....Amazing, amazing, amazing Rooms: Opulent, luxurious, decadent....all the best words for these rooms! Food drinks: As a vegetarian, im used to the bland non meat options that most restaurants offer....this was NOT that! The most delicious mushroom ragu I've ever tasted. And breakfast! The sculpture gardens were amazing. Really e joyed exploring them. I would take responsibility.

5* from start to finish!! Such a unique experience and made even more special by the staff! Food was absolutely amazing! I stayed in the clockwork orange room and sooo happy with it! I will be returning again for sure to experience the restaurant and also watch a film and get cosy in the alien Vs Predator room. Great location! Great gardens! I had a cold plunge in a nice spot in their fresh stream before breakfast that was recommended! I honestly can't fault the night away I had I look forward to going back again! Rooms: All rooms have their own scent that you can also purchase. Our room had a nice sign saying about how the rooms have had a facelift and that the bathrooms will be next. I wasn't disappointed but I can see the owners are just looking forward and going to keep providing a top rated service and experience : the room was also filled with alot of amenities, all that is needed. Nearby activities: Near to lots of local beaches. I went to woolacombe, Ilfracombe and Exmoor zoo on my weekend visit Food drinks: The breakfast was a feast! A true experience and parts brought to us by the chef. Staff were lovely throughout also. No complaints. I will be returning for lunch and when I stay at the restaurant again I'll be having an evening dinner experience for sure as from what I saw it will be amazing. Wow is the best description, an amazing place to stay. The hotel has so much character and so much to see just simply a must stay. Well breakfast can only be described as out of this world it was a feast. I can't wait to book again when in the area. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
