Arati Tandoori - Barnet

My partner and I visited Arati for the first time last night, and I can honestly say it was one of the best Indian meals I've ever had. As another reviewer mentioned, the place has a charmingly old-fashioned vibe and isn't overly designed, but the quality of the food and service is exceptional. It's now our new favorite curry house, and I highly recommend it!

I've been visiting Arati Indian in Barnet for nearly 24 years and have never had a disappointing meal. Run by a father and son duo, Arati serves traditional Indian cuisine with a straightforward approach and the highest standards. Even though I moved away from Barnet about 16 years ago, I still make the 30-mile round trip just to enjoy their food. I highly recommend giving it a try!

I won’t embellish my review at all; I genuinely had the best chicken curry in Britain here. The portion size was generous and quite satisfying. The taste was unforgettable. I can’t wait to try more dishes from this fantastic restaurant. If you’re reading this, you definitely should give it a try. Thank you for the wonderful meal and excellent customer service!

Best traditional curry house in north london! 1976 opened and still strong. great food. beautiful people. wonderful atmosphere.

This Indian restaurant is great, decor/staff not changed since I used to visit here in the 90's. However the food has improved, probably best Indian in the area.
