We stayed four times in this restaurant in recent years and generally had a good meal. But this time was a disaster. We are a family of four two adults/two children 9 and 12. We arrived on Thursday at 10 am to 8 pm, even at the August high season in this part of the world. The restaurant was busy. Not packed, but all terrace tables have been taken (you need to book if you want one). We waited for placement. Five minutes. The waitress says there are no tables out there so we have to take one inside. Okay, no problem. We've eaten inside. Last time, the place was full of flies. This time it was pretty hot and full. But we're hungry, so we'll find a table and wait for the menus. Ten minutes. We're on the verge of helping us make a menu. At last the girl arrives. Gives us two menus for four people. Don't worry. Inconvenient, but not the end of the world. Ask if we want a drink. We order a beer and 2 lemonades and some water. Ten minutes. The drinks are coming. She takes our food order two hamburgers and two pizzas. It is hot so that the water, the lemonade and the beer are consumed quite quickly. We want more water. I'm trying to catch the waitress and the owner's eyes. They ignore me. We're waiting. Two tables next to us that came to us are served. We're waiting. The waitress left AWOL. The owner seems more interested in serving a party of four adults next to us. Impossibly ignores us. Just as we 're giving up and leaving, the food comes or rather is ploned on the table by a kitchen hand. Do you want more drinks/water/bread/whatever? . We starve now and eat the food. It's pretty good. Nothing to write at home, but it is fresh, well cooked and a lot of it. The dishes are not just cheap 14,50 € for a hamburger with potato wedge and salad on the plate. €12.50 for thin crust pizza and salad. At that time, we are dying of thirst. I'm trying to see someone again. My children are burst. Then I lose enough. I storm from the two servers that are close to the kitchen and tell them that it took an hour for food to come, we have two children dying thirst (it was a 30° day). I point out that we do not have tourists we have a second house in the area and have eaten four times in their restaurant. The owner says we are very busy. No excuse. She welcomes my frustrated aggression with her aggression and tells me I'm coming out. We pay the bill and go. Never back. €58 for two gourmet hamburgers and two thin crust pizzas, two lemonades and a small glass of beer. I have eaten all over the world and had a better service in obesity than this place.
This is a great restaurant. The location is perhaps not the most beautiful especially when you sit outside, but the pizza is very good price and quality wise. Together with my partner we spend 38 euros including drinks and two big pizzas. I'd like to sit in because the atmosphere is very beautiful. Do not forget to visit Barjac before dinner on Friday there is an excellent market, so maybe you can combine the two.
I wish I had visited TripAdvisor before. That was the worst pizza I ever had. And I ate a lot. The only good thing about my pizza was the salami. The bread was dry and tasteless, and the cheese was a bit bitter...local thing. I needed two big glasses of Cola to get rid of the taste. In other news: at a table they sent their pizza back to the kitchen.

I try again to catch someone's eye - anyone. My kids are parched. Then I lose it - enough is enough. I storm off to the two servers standing near the kitchen and tell them it's taken an hour for the food to arrive, we have two children dying of thirst (it had been a 30°+ day). I point out that we're not tourists - we have a second house in the area and have eaten in their restaurant four times. The owner says "We're very busy". No apology. She just greets my frustrated aggression with her aggression and tells me to get out. We pay the bill and leave. Never to return. €58 for two "gourmet" hamburgers and two thin-crust pizzas, two lemonades and a small glass of beer. I've eaten all over the world and had better service in greasyspoons than this place.
