Le Brin d'Ile - Barjac

Very slow service, we waited 1:30 for our meals, eating was nothing special, but after we complained about the delay, the service worsened with a very bad attitude! we were left to stab and at the end I took the dirty dishes into the kitchen to speed up the dinge and get rid of the flying. we have said to take it or leave. after 2 hours and 30 minutes. we had not yet dessert ours. I do not recommend this restaurant at all!

My parent house is a walk from this restaurant and despite the fact that it is on the roadside it is nice place to eat. my favourites are on a terrace overlooking lavender fields at the back of the restaurant. I have special nutritional requirements that are...bit unusual for france, so only for the case my own food is taken and they happily heated it up and allowed me to eat it while rest of my party there gedint and enjoyed food. they also have live music and with some of them (they know who they are steve and greta! we were all up and dancing!

Good food, good value for money and service with a smile. we have little French, but the owners of this restaurant are ready to help and sort us brittle.

Actually, it felt like a tourist trap. eating was not good and it was very expensive for what we got. we were very disrespected and will never go back there.

Although it was getting near lunchtime I wasn't looking to find somewhere to eat but I did want a coffee! It was only just after midday but there were at least half a dozen of the outside tables already occupied and in the process of...eating. A quick look at the menu and I thought I may as well have lunch. A tasty and beautifully presented Salade Cevenole. All very relaxed, good service and a fair price. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.
