Hop - BARI

Been here 3 times, cool place, cozy and nice design, really good fries and sauces, and the hamburgers weren't bad. You can find many types of beers, they are a little bit pricey but worth a try. I recommend trying this place at least once!

I 've been here on several occasions and will certainly keep on returning. Why? Because it 's a great place to try the large variety of interesting beers on offer (which change every week or so , the food is good and reasonably priced (all types of pub-grub available on the menu and pasta dishes at lunchtime and the staff are superb: they know exactly what they are doing. In so many pubs in Bari the service is terrible; unfriendly, couldn 't-care-less attitude, little or no knowledge of their own products. Hop is different. They are extremely welcoming, the service is super fast despite the crowds (and it does get very crowded in the evenings, you may want to book at weekends... and they are able to tell you all about the various beers on the menu and suggest which to try to compliment your food. Open lunchtimes too (with happy hour beer prices! . A little off the beaten track for tourists but it 's not difficult to find, just the other side of the train station underpass and a 3 minute walk. Use your Google maps app, it 's worth the visit!

This pub-style spot has a thoughtful selection of world-class beer and delicious bar food. The highlight for me was the grilled octopus, but I would come back primarily for the entertainingly casual atmosphere.

Unexpected find in a quiet Bari suburb. Great choice of beers, staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful making recommendations. The owner gave some great advice on the local area for places to visit and wrote down a list for us. The value was good and they showed a Serie A game. Great evening.
