Longhorn Steakhouse - Barboursville

Was pretty excited to eat here with the wife and kids but once we got seated that excitement was dashed away. We got seated immediately but 10 minutes later a waiter stopped by to let us know that he would be right back to get our drink orders. I want to mention that it was about 3pm on a Saturday and the place wasn't even halfway full so it was a bit annoying that 20 minutes after being seated we hadn't even been asked for our drink order. It was more annoying to see the waiter walk by empty handed 3 times to check on other tables that were just sitting and talking after being done eating but after watching the waiter go to 3 other groups that came in more than 10 minutes after us to take their drink and appetizer orders then make sure he went around to get his tips from the tables of the talkers we just left. I really wanted to try this place but I will not be going back because I'll just remember my first visit and not enjoy the experience.

Me and my bf decided to eat here 1 night when Texas roadhouse was packed. There was no wait time but they did have a good bit of ppl there the waiter was great but it did take awhile for our food to show up which stuff happens so not to big a deal and the waiter had taken some off our bill for the longer wait. The food was great! I really liked the mushroom app and the steak that I had. My bf wasn't the biggest fan of the seasoning on his steak but u can ask them to go light with the seasoning. All in all thought it was great and the atmosphere was nice and cozy the waiter was very polite and helpful.

Visited with group of four recently for Sunday lunch and the place was packed. Wait staff were working diligently to keep tables happy and fed. Smiles all around. Empty tables were cleared quickly and floor manager was visiting to check in with customers. Nice experience and good food.

An amazing experience. The food was superb, leaving me hungry for more. Their ribs being my personal favorite out of any other restaurant I have been to. Whilst this particular time wasn't perfect, with the fries over-seasoned for my tastes, and the servers running slightly behind in terms of keeping the drinks full and the service swift, the instance can easily be chalked up to the vast size of the party, being well beyond their usual seating, so the blame is hardly on the restaurant.

Visited yesterday and it was my first time ever eating at a Longhorn Steakhouse. It was very busy but our waiter was great at checking up on those he waited on and getting anything we needed. I know it’s a steakhouse but steak is really your only option. Not very many sides to choose from. The food was good but not a restaurant chain I would consider going to again.
