Chili's Grill - Barboursville

I don 't suggest ordering to go from this Chili 's. We ordered last night and it was extremely disappointing. The full rack of ribs wasn 't a full rack. We had a double order of fries that was clearly just one order. Worst of all, see the picture of the bowl of chili attached. It was a tiny container to start with, I held up a chip for proportional reference, and was still onlya little over half full. Worst of all, it wasn 't even good, it wasn 't even like a chili, it was like dogfood. And it cost SIXdollars for that tiny amount of gross. Eating in the restaurant has been fine, but if Chili 's can 't even get CHILI right fortakeout, I 'll be steering clear from now on.

I was surprisingly disappointed. We had just sat down and a few minutes in we checked the silverware for our appetizers and they were extremely dirty. Still had old food on them. The second set, a new set, was given to us and those were dirty too. Also,our drinks that came put were wrong. Asked for sweet tea and chocolate milk and got soda for both. Didn 't think drinks were thathard to get wrong especially if you write it down. This Chili 's... I don 't know what happened to them in the last 6 months, butour experience was awful. Our food wasn 't steaming like usual past experiences. Fries were over cooked and got cold quick. Kidsand ourselves said the food had a distorted taste. For a 70+ dollar meal, I was shocked at the lack of service. Manager was nohelp.

Our experience at Chili's was usually good, but unfortunately this time it was not up to par. The hostess seemed to dislike her job, but our waitress was friendly and efficient. Although the food was decent, it was not served piping hot and took longer than expected. The highlight of the experience was the waitress, who served our drinks quickly. However, the restaurant itself was not well maintained - dirty windows and flies everywhere made it difficult to enjoy our meal. I took the survey to provide feedback and also wanted to inform the manager in case improvements could be made.

We recently had a party of 20 and were seated quickly. While my burger was not great last time, the fries were excellent. This time, however, the restaurant exceeded my expectations and I had the best burger. I ordered the Big BBQ Burger without onion or pickles, with added double grilled jalapenos. The burger was huge! I also enjoyed the Mexican rice and fries that came with it. I will definitely be returning to try their quesadillas as well.

The server was excellent, however, my friend found a long hair at the bottom of their bowl. It is recommended to double check the items before serving. Personally, I will avoid ordering chili, soups, or salsas in the future. On a positive note, the appetizers were delicious.
