Peking Buffet - Baraboo

3/1/23 They still have amazing food. The owner is a very sweet woman. 6/22 The staff is very good and kind. The variety of food is very good. I recommend the peanut butter chicken. 6/29/24, the quality of food has gone downhill. I saw wet crab ragoon and dry old peanut butter chicken. I was not impressed.

The individuals running this restaurant are horrible. My boyfriend and I ordered take out to go and he walked in and asked if he could get a beer to go. The individual at the counter was very rude and yelled at him that they don’t have a license to sell alcohol to go and he had to drink it in house. He declined and got two sodas instead and when my boyfriend decided not to tip him, he yelled at him again and threw a pen at him. The food was greasy and the crab rangoons were not cooked all the way. Drive to Portage and stop at Portage Asian Cuisine instead of wasting your time and money here because Baraboo is not the place for this kind of food. All of it is disgusting and over priced.

How is this restaurant still open. I have watched them commit several health code violations. The manager or owner I'm not sure it's a complete jerk I watched them drop utensils on the floor and stick them right back in the food not customers employees they don't do the you know first in first out whatever and they I didn't even eat there and they charge my credit card and refuse to not charge me for a buffet when I did not eat or drink anything. The food is not fresh. How they are still open is beyond me.

The food has definitely improved with the new owner!! The service is friendly and fast. Really glad that this Chinese restaurant is in Baraboo !!

Employees are very nice and the buffet is clean and delicious!
