Hotel Restaurant du Commerce Logis

We were on our way to South France for a night. The hotel is located in the centre of this beautiful old town with its 16th buildings. Century and nearby Seine. On a warm evening we enjoyed an excellent meal on the...terrace on the square opposite the hotel. The ingredients were local, fresh and tasty. The service attentive and friendly. The hotel is welcoming and clean and although perhaps a little dated that was not a disadvantage and we will be happy to stay there again.

We got the choice from inside or outside, so as glorious... even sitting outside on the opposite place. For the most part, we chose the middle-class plate de jour, which was 29 euros for 3 courses, with a very good choice. All our courses were great... Steak was brilliant like the frits. The service, of the 3 girls could not have been better not easy to worry for 17. One of our parties is vegan, but they could produce something very tasty for them. The owners are the former Mimis Bar, but by unlocking have taken over this hotel.. For us English is the good news that the woman is English, so easy to make bookings etc. Surprises this website is now updated. I think the rooms are made via AirBnb. We'll be back next year. I hope for another or two days here as well as a stop point on the way to cycling tours in the Alps. Cycling around Bar-sur-Seine is also great.

Visited this magnificent restaurant randomly in May, beautiful ambience on place, had some wine (house in Carafes) during ordering to start French onion soup and fish soup, chicken in mushroom sauce as main and spicy chocolate pudding, wow was a festival! Then we... forgot the bill, we were flabbergasted and said how did they do that? Menu was 13 Euro and with wine and 2 Vodka Tonic total 78 Euro for four, exceptional!

Déçu par la qualité, en dessous de ce qu'on trouve dans les logis de France en général. Heureusement que les prix sont corrects.La serveuse qui nous a accueillis et servis n'est pas aimable.Je recommande largement le Val Moret à Magnant pour un bon restaurant dans le secteur.

Différents menus à divers prix qui reste abordables.Nous n'avons pas été déçus de l'entrée au dessert !Le service est bien et agréable je recommande
