Blaze - Bar Harbor

We arrived and placed our name on the waiting list for dinner (a 30-minute waiting period). we said we could order a drink at the bar. we asked if we could order a drink at the bar while we wait. we were told by the hostess that we could go into the bar and wait for our table in this rainy night. When we came to the bar, they turned us off and said we could order a drink on the outside. we went to the outside (covered terrace) we were twisted away and said to wait outside (in rain) unnecessary to say we made our way to another restaurant that was more than happy to take our drink order when we waited for a table in the restaurant. it turned out that it was all for the best. we had a nice dinner and a great service.

We went for lunch and had no trouble getting a table for two. When we asked to reserve a table for dinner, we were informed that reservations are only available for parties of four or more. The food was good, and the service was very attentive, despite it being a busy time. Our server was pleasant and friendly. For lunch, we had the pulled pork tacos, which were very good at $19. We also ordered a small portion of the deep-fried fries for $8; they were tasty but felt a bit overpriced. Additionally, we tried the simple chicken wings with BBQ sauce on the side for $18.50, which were also good. Overall, our lunch bill came to just over $55, which is quite reasonable for a meal in this city.

We stopped by, and the wings were fantastic! The bartender was decent, but it was a bit challenging to get his attention. Overall, the wings are definitely worth it.

We had a nice lunch overall. The pizza was a bit overcooked on one side, but it was still tasty. The lobster roll was excellent. We were recommended the blueberry beer, but what we received was a good beer, just without any hint of blueberry flavor.

Waitress was as less than enthusiastic to be taking our order. Clam chowder was the best of the three places I went to on this trip. The Waygu steak tacos were great (I needed a little break from seafood). The Risotto was good too. Got a pizza to go at the end, hearty portions and cheese. 4.5 star food, 3.5 star service, thus the 4 star rating.
