The Railway - Bannockburn

The only small issue we encountered at the restaurant was that my sister, who is disabled, had difficulty getting through the main doors. We had to wait by the back glass doors to be let in, but once inside, everything was wonderful as usual. The food was perfect, with perfectly cooked portions, and I can't even describe how delicious the redskin or golden gaytime cheesecake was. The prices were fair and the staff was very friendly. Our waiter, who I believe was the owner himself, was fantastic and truly deserves recognition.

I have been to this restaurant twice in the past week since moving to Bannockburn. I highly recommend this place. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous. A big thumbs up to the chefs. They also offer takeout, which makes things even easier (especially since I am not a cook). One visit and you will be hooked on eating here, you won't be disappointed.

I didn't have a reservation, but managed to get a table in the bistro. The beer and lemon lime bitters were reasonably priced. I ordered the Thai beef salad, salt and pepper squid, and fish crepe. The portions were large, but delicious. The service from the young staff running the show and bar was excellent. I will definitely return.

We drove to banno (railway hotel), bannockburn from curiosity and there part of the lamb roast. many gravure and many sweet. too much for me! but he ate the partie and then dessert and a coffee.

Regular diner, never had a bad meal meal sizes are very generous always quick. Hotel is very clean, can get a little noisy but great atmosphere.
