I almost always come here to get my pork rolls, as well as coconut bread from time to time. I've ordered the pork roll, nem nuong (Vietnamese grilled pork) and egg roll, and pork crackling roll over time here, and they were all delicious, although 95% of the time, I just order the pork roll. They are very generous with their pate spread, which is probably my favourite part of a pork roll to be honest, and I also love their pickled radish as they leave it as one long thick strip, rather than a bunch of thin shredded pickled radish like some places tend to do it as. My only wish is that the radish was longer, so I could get a taste of it with every bite of pork roll from start to finish. Their bread rolls are crispy and fresh, although it can be a little hard sometimes, and hurt the roof of my mouth when I eat, as it scratches it. If you're planning to buy it and take it away to eat someplace else (great at a park or the beach!!), I'd suggest skipping the soy sauce, as it can make your bread a little soggy. The pork cracklings rolls are beautifully crispy and balanced, while the nem nuong rolls are cooked perfectly and not too salty, but the nem nuong isn't that beautiful pink colour I love, more of a brown colour, but that doesn't affect the taste whatsoever. Coconut bread here has changed a little recently though, their coconut stuffing inside used to be a bit more moist and delicious, but when I bought a bag today, they were all rather dry and flakey inside instead. Still, I think it tastes alright. Service here is always fast and friendly, although I can't say the same for some of their customers; don't be too hung up on lining up, as some customers will not care that you were there first and just push their way right up to the counter and start yelling out their order. Today I got two pork rolls, a can of drink, and a bag of four coconut bread rolls, and it costs me about $13. I think the pork rolls are about $4 on their own, so it's very cheap, certainly the cheapest I know. TIP: if you love coriander like me, you can ask them for extra coriander for no extra cost, and if you're just looking for a snack to share with a friend, you can also ask them to cut it in half for you.
