I have tested that my appetizer for vegan and because I had the vegetarin jalfrezi before I ordered it again, but this time I didn't give vegan and it came with disc cleaner in it. they first brought it into the kitchen, removed the wiper and brought it back. but there were still crumbs of wipers and I can't have milk for medical reasons, so they were apologetic and cooked a new one without wash. veg jalfrezi was delicious, chana masala and garlic naan too. has not thought much of the wobbly pakora, they were like wobbly rings, but falling into jerkerbsen, they were ok, but nothing special. I did eat there 2 days in order because it was very good, but also because it is the closest vegetarian place to my hotel. I'll probably go back there a couple more times before I leave. updated by previous review on 2019-09-29
Yesterday evening went to this place, but the happy cow location was wrong (I sent an update so it should soon be correct.) the decor is mediocre, but don't let them put out, the eating is probably the best I've ever eaten! the curries were so tasteful and the price was great. we paid 400baht for 2 naans, 1 roti, 1 rice, 2 curries, 2 softdrinks and a bottle of water.
An Indian vegetarian restaurant. one of the best Indian food I had in bangkok. good food at a good price. a meal for 2 youngs (2 curry, 2 nan, 2 drinks and 1 plate rice), cost me only about 500 baht. it is in a small lane next to ma hotel in bang rak, bangkok.
Some dishes at this restaurant contain dairy, so it is important to ask before ordering. On my third visit, I informed the staff that I was vegan and they were accommodating. I confirmed that my appetizer was vegan, but when I ordered the veg jalfrezi again, I forgot to specify vegan and it came out with paneer. The staff removed the paneer from the dish, but there were still traces of it so they cooked me a fresh one without dairy. The veg jalfrezi was delicious, as were the Chana Masala and garlic naan. The onion pakora, however, was not impressive as they resembled onion rings dipped in chickpea batter. Despite this, I dined at this restaurant two days in a row due to its quality and proximity to my hotel. I plan to return several more times before leaving.
I walked to this restaurant last night but the happy cow location was incorrect (I've sent an update so it should be fixed soon). The decor is average but don't let that discourage you, the food is arguably the best I've ever had! The curries were incredibly flavorful and the prices were excellent. We paid 400 baht for 2 naans, 1 roti, 1 rice, 2 curries, 2 soft drinks, and a bottle of water.
