Sorn - Bangkok

There are not many times in my life that meals made me speechless. Sorn was that and more. From the beginning to the end there were so many flavors, so many different flavors and so many different tasty paired courses with amazingly matched wines. We really felt honored to be able to get a booking at Sorn after we are unable to travel for years. It was really worth the trip from Melbourne and I will certainly say stop all my friends here when they come to Bangkok. It is difficult to determine a highlight from the courts. There were so many varieties and so many flavors. We appreciate Chef Supaksorn coming to tell us a little story, it was really a special occasion and one that I will remember for years.

Amazing experience with almost 20 different courses, definitely worth it. Sorn has risen rapidly in the last five years (from Thailand's best to Asia's best and now worlds best) and it is clear why. As a European, there, who made so many ingredients/tastes I had never tasted, what made it a beautiful evening. The staff was very helpful and talked about everything and shows the ingredients on the table next to the courses. We could choose between “original” or “mild” spicy and went with mild. This was more than spicy enough for us and I would advise to do the same if you are not used to the south Thai hospitality. They also offered a 5 or 8 glass wine pairing and went with 5. Although the fillings were modest (would say 10 glasses a bottle), it was okay. As a rule, I would recommend not too much focus on it, as it is almost impossible to combine wines with these extraordinary courses. The only drawback of an otherwise perfect night was that we sat on the back of the restaurant, in a separate niche next to the bathroom and the staff exit. This made us feel a little unwilling and miss the general ambience. Although western in Asia (perhaps post COVID) are often regarded as contagious, I would have expected it to be different in such a beautiful restaurant.

The best experience for fine Thai food I've ever had. Food was brilliant and high quality ingredients from Thailand. The cook is really qualified to create such foods. I really need to say an unforgettable culinary experience. Well done. Ideal for couples or groups of friends or even business dinners. Location in downtown, but the soi is very small parking spaces are limited.

Great fine dining experience. Must try place for those who visiting Thailand. caution with spicy food
