Golden State Vegan Restaurant Bar

Oh my days, what a restaurant! The flavours, the presentation, the fact that our Thai waitress was vegan too, the ambiance... 100% love it. Truly, I would just fly to Bangkok for this place. I can't wait to be back and get the 32pcs party plate JUST TO MYSELF! Incredible vegan sushi, should get an international award.

It is very rare to find high quality vegan sushi but this place knows how to bring you the best plant based experience. The host is very knowledgeable and super nice! The menu is outstanding, every dish designed perfectly. The presentation and the atmosphere are amazing, a small little gem with a very tastefully done menu along the restaurant itself. A true masterpiece… an absolute MUST when you visit Bangkok! #Veganuary

I like coming to this place to enjoy the atmosphere and food. They make really tasty bowls and sushu. I found that the portion is too small and hardly fill me up. It is also very expensive and should be instead if in the listing. I would save this place for very special ocassions and not come very often.

After reading the other reviews, I had much higher expectations to eat in this restaurant. I was simply unhappy with the things I have chosen, but I found the tiny portions (also according to Thai standards) rather bland and high prices (ok I get it that they 're paying for a special 'experience than a food dish, but unfortunately, for me, it just didn't come.

I went during the day and would not have required a reservation. the prices are very high, but also I never had such a special vegan sushi choice so somewhat understandable. the other sushi that I had was quite tasteless, but the other (drachen something) was simply amazing. updated by previous review on 2022-10-13
