Bandon Bait

These are the best fish and chips I've ever had. Wife and I were at Campsite Bullards Beach when one of the hosts told us about a great place to eat in Bandon where the park is. They said most tourists pass this place and go to a busy restaurant. The food is so good! No food in, just outside. The fish is so fresh and does not have much bread at all. Very humid and tasty. Meal also comes with shrimp cocktail, Coleslaw and handmade tars sauce when you ask. The wife had a comb meal with the same stuff I had, but additionally shrimps and oysters. All right. We have a Clam-Chowder. A little expensive for big (which was not big) at $8 per piece. But it was very good and we didn't regret it. Great service and food. Very recommended. Besides, the bai shop has a lot of cool stuff inside.

I've never had better fish and chips. All the places by the pier here have great clam chowder and Bandon Bait and Tackle are no less, it's always piping hot and delicious. But the fish is absolutely stunning! Lightly breaded and the juiciest you'll ever eat. The service is friendly and down-home. Order at the counter and they'll bring it out to your table outside. Battle the wind for this food, it's worth it.

Excellent meal. Love the seasoning instead of so much breading, you can taste the fish. Excellent service.
