Eckerts Genuss Im Fluss - Bamberg

We used Eckerts as were staying at Hotel Nepomuk. Good breakfast; we had omelettes, good strong coffee (not burnt) and freshly squeezed orange juice. The bag of bread is a nice touch. The view from the restaurant is excellent across the water and a great...way to start the day

Super local at the river, great, regional food, always fresh ingredients and beautiful freeseat at the river. have never seen a better look like those who eat. also faster and extremely attentive service. a thick recommendation!

Stopped here to have breakfast. We had the special (I think that was its name). Served by a delightful waitress who spotting that we were not German produced a menu in English. The food was excellent and well worth the money even though the sterling...exchange rate was so poor at the time. Views are great and it is just out of the way enough so that it was dominated by locals rather than coach loads of tourists.

We visited this restaurant on July 2019. The service was fantastic, the waiters were quick and helpful. The food was delicious. The restaurant is very clean and is in a nice place, it is on the river. You should visit this restaurant.

We had one night in Bamberg and picked this place due to TripAdvisor reviews. Thank you Trip Advisor. Had never had wild boar schnitzel before and the reviews touted it and it did not disappoint. The rest of our party had other things and we...all came away loving them all. Great looking place too...great overall experience.
