Starbucks Reserve - Baltimore

The service at this Starbucks was good, but I was disappointed to see a homeless man in a wheelchair lingering inside the store for at least 30 minutes without making any purchase. He was playing videos on his cell phone at a high volume, which was disruptive to the paying customers around him. It raises the question of why Starbucks permits loitering in their establishments, especially when it affects the experience of other patrons.

The staff was fantastic! I tried their unique coffee-making method, and it was really enjoyable. It's a bit on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it!

Personally, I didn’t feel any special from this store. I ordered cappuccino and latte on the reserve menu, but all of them were thin with too much of steam. The cappuccino was worse since it contained more steamed milk, but I couldn’t feel any milk flavor. The baristas seem to need more training for the steam milk machine. Would say it was very normal Starbucks store, not a special or reserve.

As a general rule, I usually avoid chain coffee places when I'm on vacation or work trips, and I especially avoid Starbucks. However, I couldn't find a coffee place close to my hotel so I went to Starbucks. I was happy with my experience! Megan, one of the baristas, was super friendly and remembered me when I came in several times over the course of the week. She was pleasant and interacted with her coworkers and other customers with a positive upbeat attitude. Good service goes a long way, and I would recommend Megan every time!
