Pitango Bakery Cafe - Baltimore

This is our morning coffee and croissant joint when visiting Baltimore. But it's so much more than that. Fresh baked bread, prosciutto cured on site, a variety of pastries, sandwiches, and there was even a pop up bar selling local cocktails, beer and wine last time we were there. There's usually a line but they bang out the orders quickly. Friendly and efficient. Outside seating right on the harbor.

If I lived nearby, I would be a regular. The sandwiches here are simple but done right. I highly recommend the Speck sandwich, which is Speck Alto Adige PGI sliced fresh upon ordering, combined with avocados and straciatella cheese on fresh focaccia. So good!

This corner coffee shop and bakery was so cute. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside after ordering our items. The line was kind of long but moved fast. Everything was delicious. The apple coffee cake especially

I thoroughly enjoyed this bakery. It’s huge, the customer service is 10/10, and the food is delicious. My reasoning for the four stars is because my matcha wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. I expected for it to be a bit sweeter and it wasn’t. Outside of that, this place is really great and I enjoyed my time here.

Enjoyed the RED Sandwich- Prosciutto di Parma, mozzarella, avocado, tomato focaccia. Mozzarella was creamy and flavorful, the focaccia was light and airy but with a good amount of crispness to it. Prosciutto was pretty good, not too salt, nice thin slice I personally could’ve used a pinch more!
