After waiting about 20 minutes for my server to return, I decided to get up and pay. The guy took my card, processed the payment, and then just walked to the back without offering me a receipt or even returning my card. I won’t be coming back here. Edit/Reply: I initially gave it 2 stars, but now it’s down to 1. And yes, I’m certain it was Indochine on Charles Street.
We ordered a large combination pho and Vietnamese coffee, and both were outstanding! They truly made my day!
I've sampled all the bánh mì options, and the pork is my favorite. The bread is just right and generously sauced. There's an ideal amount of cilantro and veggies. It's a rich yet light and flavorful sandwich.
Atmosphere is a little too authentic, like cheap Saigon restaurants with a tv on in back and old thin linoleum floors. It's definitely a Vietnamese staff (you can hear them shouting orders to the kitchen in Vietnamese) but they just cut too many corners. Sticky floors and dirty bathroom. Pretty cheap but the g?i cu?n was too chewy and they were just noodles with a little limp lettuce. The ph? was ok but it lacked depth. Everything is a little too salty. Boba tea is just over
I?m a big fan of the beef and shrimp broken rice. They do a great char which really makes the dishes. When I first are coming the firecracker calamari was one of my favorites but have noticed a change in quality since then. Accommodating staff for the most part, there can be some confusions when ordering but they are receptive to fixing those overall.
