Captain James Seafood Palace

My second time here at this awesome after 4 years. I've been wanting to come back ever since and Finally made it.Want to try some authentic crabs and crab cakes? Look no further and set the GPS to Captain James. I will say there's no better spot then this, great food and great service staff.Parking: They have planty space for your vehicle so no need to be struggle circling around.

Absolutely amazing food!! I had the seafood Alfredo, which was unlike any other (in the best way possible). My husband had the crab cake platter that consisted of 2 of the biggest crab cakes I’ve very seen (no picture because he dug in too quickly). The atmosphere is so cool—like you’re in a boat without the seasickness. Definitely swing through!

I've been coming to Captain James for a number of years now. Have been seated on the water as well as in the restaurant across the street. Crabs, Hush puppies, cole slaw always very good. Service has been wonderful too. I will keep coming back.

Atmosphere is really nice. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special either. When I say it wasn't “anything special” please don't take that as being nasty...it wasn't, I just mean that there's nothing about the food that makes it stand above and beyond any other place that sells blue crabs and other varieties of seafood. Should you try Captain James, sure if you're in the area. Would I go out of my way to go back, no, not at all. Service was really good and I'm thankful for that since gratuity is automatically added. Had service been less than stellar, I guess one could take it up at that time but thankfully we had no need because the service was excellent. I hope this doesn't come off as a negative review because that's not my intention, however I'm just being fair and honest of my opinion of this place.

Crab cakes were bland and overpriced. Everything, but the crab legs was uninspired.
