Duggan's - Ballydehob

Never open and rude woman on the phone say that this is not the right number

What a unique experience it was. We were attended to by a rather grumpy woman, and during the time we waited for our food, she and the man working alongside her engaged in a rather animated argument. He appeared friendly and even smiled at us when our eyes met. We couldn't help but chuckle among ourselves, wondering if this food would turn out to be the best or the worst. Unfortunately, it was the latter. The chips were frozen, of poor quality, and undercooked—they definitely needed a second fry. The fish was terrible, with a strong fishy taste—never a good sign. The chicken fillet burger was bland and dry.

We drive from Cork just to dine at Duggans! The fish burger is incredible—super fresh fish and absolutely delicious. It's a family-run business with consistently wonderful service.

I ordered fish, burgers, chips, and sausages from there, and they were absolutely fantastic! The wait was definitely worth it.

I would travel all the way to Duggans' in Ballydehob just for their Fish Burgers—they're that extraordinary! No need for subtlety here! The onion rings are excellent as well. However, their beef burgers could use some improvement, as they can be undercooked and less than ideal.
