Golden Mountain - Ballarat

It's truly unfortunate that this restaurant has closed, as it was undoubtedly the best Chinese place in Ballarat. We've tried other Chinese restaurants in the area, but none come close to the exquisite cuisine they offered.

There are only a few restaurants that would take me to the town of Ballarat, even if I was sick. And trust me Golden Mountain is definitely one of them. If you are a place pure for amazing food and cheap, then Golden Mountain is the place. I'm not an expert in Chinese, but I eat Chinese food every week. I love good Chinese spring rolls. And Golden Mountain make them right. These little spring rolls are packed with spices and taste, you have one and you want one again, I like to come back for more soon.

Consistently good food, delicious and hot, large portions and reasonable waiting time. The staff is also beautiful. You can find parking on the side street or behind the hotel on the Midland motorway.

Oh, my God!!!! what a fantastic little place. I sung with the partner and our son. the food was 10/10,absolutely delicious and full of taste, and the portion sizes were generous. The lady waiting for our table was so sweet, and her husband did a fantastic job to cook our food, which didn't last forever to come to our table. Do a favor, check out this little jewel.

I really miss Golden Mountain. It had the best Chinese food in Ballarat; nothing I've tried since compares to the authentic and delicious dishes they served. I hope they come back soon!
