Flying Horse - Ballarat

A beautiful place will not go back to the bistro. looks like a descended country pub. table and chairs were another mic maic of designs. the noise level was really bad. I thought it would be good with all the work they did. wonnt bothered to go again was better as it was.

We visited the flying horse regularly. the meals are in the very nice and service super. but on Wednesday evening it was a catastrophe as soon as we entered. the reception is so far away that we have waited one because some visit us. No one came, so I went to the command counter and waited, at some point someone showed us to our table. we ordered our meal and then got drinks. my man ordered a beer, it took 5 minutes until the young man poured the beer. he would fill it, then tilt it out until he got a complete glass. we had ordered the same meal we had visited during our previous visit. pork stir fry and broken fish. we waited and waited, it was an hour, so I went and asked how much longer. our meal came, grilled fish not scattered, the young girl seemed reluctant to take it back, simply left on the table. I tried to eat mine, it was so salty that I felt sick. I took my meal back and spoke to a beautiful girl who offered me something else, but I didn't feel hungry anymore. the young girl came back and told us she would bring another fish right away. we are tired of waiting and when we got up, she brought out the fish after she had served all the other meal in the restaurant. Now it was 2 hours. we didn't think it was fair that I was sitting for another twenty minutes, so we got a refund and were left. as I said, we are frequent customers to the flying horse, we do not know what went wrong, but it certainly fell under what it was. that's the one that's gone.

Our meal was delicious, the room was nice the table and the seats were cozy, I would recommend it for a meal.

Book a table line for a Christmas dinner. great value, our meals absolutely beautiful. friendly service, the beautiful lady that included our order, the bar staff and the waitress.

New venue was excellent and the food and service was good. Just one thing we didn 't appreciate was when we walked in we were told we were on table 5 and the waitress just pointed and said it 's over there !! How hard would it have been for here to just show us to our table... not rocket science... very poor response and the sullen look on her face said it all... she just couldn 't be bothered...
