Best Parma I've had in a long time, great chips and salad too. Staff all friendly. Nice traditional pub.

My partner and I called in when our regular was full. We were pleasantly surprised. It was tastefully renovated. The service was prompt and everyone was friendly. The food was also prompt and the meals were generous in size and delicious. Will be back for sure :)

In recent years the grapes had fallen on hard times. Bad management and awkward customers. Now back on track with a local family with associations with the Grapes going back 20 years taking over. Great raffles, Thursday and Friday nights, sense of community and a new menu. Tucker is over the counter snags and mash, burgers with the lot etc. Dining Room (Perhaps a bit too a grand description) has a simple but very good menu and a very nice and reasonably priced wine list. As a country pub? Cannot fault it.
